A nod to my Eastern European heritage, these strong, sturdy women encompass the joy of play and the wisdom of age. A set of nesting dolls that graced our shelves while I was growing up, were one of the first toys my son gravitated towards. They remind me of how we are filled with layers, new forms and versions of ourselves always coming to life as we dig a little deeper. That, and the fact they're just so darned cute.
