ABOUT THIS WORK:

I had the opportunity to teach a series of workshops in my studio recently to both children, and to women. The question I’ve been leading the workshops with is:

How do you be an Artist?

Unsurprisingly, the kids get it right without hesitation. Their ability to simplify, to see the big wide open beautiful picture that we somehow lost sight of decades ago.

There’s only three steps -

#1: Pay Attention to Details
#2: Follow Your Curiosities
#3: Play
